FREQUENCY AND AMOUNT OF TREATMENTS:

Treatment plans and the number of treatments depend on each individual, their constitution, overall health, and the seriousness of their diagnosis.​ Acute health problems require fewer treatments than chronic conditions.

Alongside acupuncture, I also always offer clients simple but effective lifestyle advice on how they can keep their body stronger.

Acute conditions - clients who come with acute pains (e.g. sciatica) usually need to be seen in two consecutive weeks to resolve the pain however, there are cases - such as a lower back pain, when one treatment can be enough to resolve the pain.  

 

Chronic conditions - I would often recommend to see the clients with long-standing health problem at least two weeks after the initial session, and continue on two weeks interval once or twice before spreading the treatments to every 3 weeks to a month, allowing the effects of acupuncture to work through the body and mind until the condition resolves.
