Counselling

Counselling raises self - awareness by helping a person to gain clarity and understanding into

their internal world and as a result be able to deal with the external world in a better way.

It can be helpful for a variety of reasons including mental health support, personal growth and

self-discovery, relationship and interpersonal issues, coping with life changes, behavioral

issues, trauma recovery and improving quality of life.

I have trained as an Integrative Counsellor offering counselling in a safe,  confidential and

non-judgmental space. I offer acupuncture alongside counselling as and when needed.

While some clients enjoy the combination of both modalities, others choose to have counselling only.

I have experience working with clients from all walks of life and different ages presenting with a variety of issues such as:

low self-esteem, anxiety, social anxiety, stress, work-related stress, negative thinking patterns, self-criticism, anger, loneliness, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, relationship breakdown/divorce, addiction, childhood bullying, childhood trauma, abuse and neglect, PTSD, depression, ADHD, autism, self-harm...

In my therapeutic work as an integrative counsellor, I combine several psychotherapeutic modalities. I was specifically trained to incorporate Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA) and Cogntive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with the Person-centred therapy strongly underpinning my therapeutic work. This flexibility allows for a more holistic and personalized approach and to tailor therapy to the unique needs of each individual client.

I am also a trauma-informed, ADHD-informed and attachment-informed therapist.

As a trauma-informed therapist I was trained in somatic (body-oriented) trauma therapy by a renowned trauma therapist Babette Rotschild.

As an ADHD-informed therapist I am trained to support clients with ADHD traits in their daily life, offering practical strategies and support.

As an attachment-informed therapist I am acutely aware of attachment styles individuals develop in childhood and carry for the rest of their lives if unchallenged.

I completed counseling training Level - 5 Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Integrative Counselling at Reflections Training Ltd. and I am a fully insured member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and receive regular supervision.
