Counselling

Counselling offers a safe and supportive space to explore your inner world — your thoughts,

feelings, and patterns of behaviour. By increasing self-awareness and understanding, it can

help you respond to life’s challenges in more conscious and empowered ways.

People seek counselling for many different reasons — including support with mental health,

personal growth, relationship difficulties, life transitions, trauma recovery, or simply a desire

to feel more grounded and at peace within themselves.

I am a fully trained Integrative Counsellor, offering sessions in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment.

At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship — a space built on trust, empathy, and genuine connection.

Depending on your needs, I may also integrate acupuncture alongside counselling when appropriate. Some clients find this combination particularly helpful, while others prefer to focus on counselling alone.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people of all ages and backgrounds, facing a wide range of issues including:

  • Low self-esteem

  • Anxiety and social anxiety

  • Stress and work-related burnout

  • Depression and negative thought patterns

  • Grief and loss

  • Relationship struggles and breakdowns

  • Childhood trauma, abuse, and neglect

  • PTSD and trauma recovery

  • ADHD and autism

  • Addiction and self-harm

  • Loneliness, anger, and emotional regulation

In my work, I draw from a number of therapeutic approaches to create a tailored experience for each client.

My integrative training includes Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Informed Practice (trained in Somatic Trauma therapy under Babette Rothschild).

I also work in ADHD-informed, and attachment-informed way:

  • As an ADHD-informed therapist, I offer practical support and strategies to help clients navigate everyday life.

  • As an attachment-informed therapist, I pay close attention to how early relational patterns influence present-day connections and emotional responses.

I hold a Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Integrative Counselling from Reflections Training Ltd, and I’m a fully insured member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I also receive regular supervision to ensure safe, ethical, and effective practice.
